Cold Plate Cold Rolling Technology Characteristics

Tangshan cold-rolled sheet products have stringent packaging requirements to prevent surface scratches during transportation. In addition to the above processes, special procedures are implemented for the production of certain special products. For instance, when rolling silicon steel plates, decarbonization annealing is required before cold rolling, followed by coating, high-temperature annealing, tension straightening (see tension straightening), and tempering. Cold rolling typically employs longitudinal rolling. The general processes for cold rolling production include material preparation, rolling, degreasing, annealing (heat treatment), and finishing. Cold-rolled sheets are produced using hot-rolled products as raw materials, and the raw materials must be descaled before cold rolling to ensure the cleanliness of the surface.
Cold rolling is a primary process for material deformation. The purpose of descaling is to remove the lubricating oil that adheres to the rolled material during the rolling process, to prevent contamination of the steel surface during annealing, and to prevent carbon pickup in stainless steel. Annealing includes intermediate annealing and final heat treatment. Intermediate annealing is used to eliminate work hardening caused by cold deformation through recrystallization, to restore the material's plasticity and reduce the metal's resistance to deformation. The purpose of final heat treatment, in addition to eliminating hardening through recrystallization, is to achieve the required structure (such as various textures) and product properties (such as deep drawing, electromagnetic properties) based on the technical requirements of the product. Cold rolled finishing includes processes such as inspection, cutting, straightening (flattening), printing, and classified packaging.
