Cold Rolled Sheets, Hot Rolled Sheets, Galvanized Sheets

Although no hot-state plastic deformation compression was involved in the forming process, the cold-rolled plate still contains residual stresses within the cross-section, which inevitably affects the overall and local buckling characteristics of the steel. The typical style of cold-rolled steel sections is open, and they do not damage the coating, allowing for a variety of cross-sectional shapes. The production processes for cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel sheets differ.
Hot rolled is produced under high temperatures, with cold rolled steel plates offering greater strength, and hot rolled steel plates providing better ductility. Cold rolled steel generally has a smaller thickness, while hot rolled steel can have a thicker gauge. Cold rolled steel is used for bending parts like sheets, with a very standard thickness, and it appears quite shiny like stainless steel when it's not rusted; hot rolled steel has a rough surface.
The shape lacks the rigidity of cold rolled steel. Tangshan cold-rolled sheet steel has a thinner wall thickness, and there is no additional thickening at the corners where the sheet pieces join. Additionally, due to the yield point being closer to the tensile strength, cold rolling and hot rolling are two distinct steel rolling techniques. Cold rolling involves shaping steel at room temperature, resulting in a higher hardness of the steel.
