Maintenance and Care for the Vulcanizing Machine

The vulcanizing machine, as a conveyor belt joint tool, should also undergo maintenance and care both during and after use, just like other tools, to extend its service life. Currently, our company's vulcanizing machines have a service life of 8 years with proper use and maintenance.

Proper maintenance of the vulcanizer should pay attention to the following issues:

1. The storage environment for the vulcanizer should be kept dry and well-ventilated to prevent electrical线路 from becoming damp due to humidity.

Do not use the vulcanizer outdoors during rain to prevent water from entering the electrical control box and heating plate.

If the work environment is humid and prone to water, when disassembling and transporting the vulcanizer, it should be elevated on items placed on the ground to prevent direct contact with water.

4. In the event of water entering the heating plate due to improper operation during use, please first contact the manufacturer for repair. If emergency repairs are necessary, remove the top cover of the heating plate, pour out the water first, then set the electrical control box to manual operation, heat to 100°C, maintain a constant temperature for half an hour to dry the wiring, and then perform the belt glue bonding in manual mode. Simultaneously, promptly contact the manufacturer for a complete replacement of the wiring.

5. When the sulfurizing machine will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to heat the heating plate every two weeks (set to 100℃), maintaining the temperature for approximately half an hour.

6. After each use, it is essential to drain all water from the water pressure plate, especially during winter. Failure to do so can often lead to premature aging of the rubber in the water pressure plate, thereby reducing its service life.

The correct method for draining is to do so after the vulcanization and insulation process is completed, before the vulcanizing machine is disassembled. Draining after the machine is disassembled may result in incomplete removal of water from the water pressure plate.
