The S-shaped steam finned tube is a standard type of finned tube suitable for steam heating systems. Due to the water inlets and outlets being positioned on opposite sides of the tube, curved tubes are used to alleviate stress caused by thermal expansion and other factors.

Model - Row Count (Pitch Code) - Tube Count on Surface - Tube Length (inches). For example, with two rows, a pitch of 3.2mm, 21 tubes on the surface, and a tube length of 60 inches, it would be S-2(R)-21-60.
