Star of Bethlehem, also known as Double Delphinium, is native to the Mediterranean coast, and is also called Sphagnetic Ophiopogon, Perennial Star of Bethlehem, Spicate Delphinium, and Conical Delphinium. It is a perennial plant of the Dianthus family. The Star of Bethlehem is versatile, combining ornamental and medicinal uses. Its small, light-colored flowers with a fluffy, three-dimensional appearance exude an elegant and delicate vibe, giving a sense of mystique. The flower clusters offer a great group effect, making it a key companion flower, one of the popular cut flowers today, despite its high price, it is in high demand. It thrives in a warm, moist environment with ample sunlight, with an optimal growth temperature of 15°C to 25°C. Above 30°C or below 10°C, it can cause rosette-like clumping, where it only grows stems without blooming. It requires loose, organically rich soil with moderate moisture content and a pH of around 7.
