GRC water surface panels are a special form of water surface concrete construction. They are thin, lightweight, and highly durable, while also retaining the natural material feel of water surface concrete. Decorative applications of GRC water surface panels showcase realistic water surface concrete textures, enhancing the architectural effect of the material. During production, these panels are directly molded and manufactured by the manufacturer and then directly mounted on the building surface in a dry-hanging manner.

GRC waterboard is a precast decorative panel made of exposed concrete. That is to say, during the construction of buildings using GRC exposed concrete, the decorative panels designed for decoration can beautifully showcase the simple language of exposed concrete. The true GRC waterboard, however, is made entirely of exposed concrete, as the concrete itself requires no decoration and directly expresses the inherent character of the material.

Due to the GRC water panel itself being a weakly alkaline building material, after construction, factors like rain and wind can cause changes in the pH of the plain concrete, leading to issues with the building's exterior surface. Therefore, it's generally necessary to apply a plain concrete protective agent to the decorative GRC water panel to protect the pH of the plain concrete from changing.

The types of GRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) solid panels, from a domestic perspective, are mostly made of glass fiber sheets, which are then coated with clear concrete protective agents on the surface. In a strict sense, the GRC solid panels presented in this manner should actually be considered as clear concrete imitation panels.

The authentic GRC waterboard should be cast from plain concrete, followed by the application of a plain concrete protective coating. The process is complex, requires extended curing time, and is more expensive than standard boards, which is why genuine GRC waterboards are also more costly than imitations. Authentic GRC waterboards are to be presented in the form of reinforced concrete.
