Adobe panel is a board with a texture similar to adobe walls, serving as another form of adobe wall construction, which involves improving the soil by adding lime and concrete in the raw soil. Installation is particularly easy and quick, significantly reducing the construction period and saving costs.

Adobe panel is made by mixing clay, sand, and gravel in specific proportions to form aggregates similar to concrete. These aggregates are then cast into molds, undergo curing and demolding processes, ultimately forming the adobe panels.

What is the rammed earth panel construction technique?

The installation of rammed earth panels is extremely convenient. The installation methods include straight钉安装 and structural adhesive bonding. Building facades use dry-hanging, while landscape walls can be either dry-hung or mounted.

1. Adhesive form

Process: Level base layer → Underlay with plywood → Apply glue on the back of rammed earth board, structural glue (screwless glue) at 15cm distance from the edge of the rammed earth board, in dot pattern, with dot spacing of 10-15cm, then paste → Detail finishing → Done.

PS: Interior walls cannot be constructed with gypsum board as the base material due to the paper surface on the gypsum board, which causes the adhesive to not be secure. During construction, ensure that both the base surface and the clay brick mounting surface are free of dust.

2. Dry-hang style

① Standard Dry Hanger

Secure 2cm x 4cm joists to the interior foundation walls, spacing the wooden joists 30cm apart. Arrange the adobe panels horizontally and fix them in place using straight nails in the areas with the most honeycomb holes on the board surface.

② Reinforced hanging

Outside the standard wooden stud installation, affix plywood, apply a layer of liquid glue to its surface, lay the adobe panels horizontally, and secure them using straight nails in the areas with the most honeycomb holes on the plywood.
