The large tin mining vessel is 95 meters long, with a beam of 17.5 meters and a depth of 2.8 meters, weighing 1300 tons and boasting a total installed power of 2800 horsepower. The vessel integrates advanced technologies from dredging and mineral processing fields, featuring a compact structure, comprehensive functions, high level of automation, strong data collection capability, high reliability, and excellent maneuverability. It can select different mining and mineral processing systems based on varying seabed geological conditions and mineral types. For different tailings characteristics, different tailings discharge methods are adopted to avoid environmental pollution. Equipped with a stable ship platform, it implements detection and control of the mining and processing operations with fine-tuned control and management systems.
The marine mineral reserves, as a critical area for obtaining strategic resources by humans, are increasingly gaining high attention from various countries. The research and development of key technologies in surveying, extraction, and transportation of ships have become important means to acquire marine mining rights.
As a comprehensive supplier in the global ecological sediment removal field, Shandong Haohai has overcome the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the international financial crisis in recent years. Actively responding to the national initiatives of building a "Maritime Power" and the "Belt and Road," the company has aggressively expanded its overseas market. Seizing the opportunities of Indonesia's abundant resources and the growing scale of coastal mining, it took three years to successfully research, develop, and manufacture the first large-scale tin mining ship with international competitiveness.
