Description

Aerofloat is an integrated wastewater treatment technology, suitable for treating oil-containing wastewater, suspended solids污水, and more. It can be widely applied in various scenarios for wastewater flotation and purification, achieving standard discharge or reuse.

The flotation system is primarily divided into three functional units: the gas-liquid pressurization unit, the microbubble generation unit, and the microbubble flotation separation unit.


Principle:

Common wastewater treatment methods include: physical treatment, chemical treatment, physical-chemical treatment, and biological treatment. Physical treatment methods include: gravity separation, centrifugal separation, air flotation, filtration, and membrane separation, etc.

The concept of treating wastewater using the Microbubble Flotation and Cyclone Flotation Separation Method involves passing gas through a microbubble generator to cut and select fine, uniform, high-density saturated aerated water, which is then introduced into the wastewater to create a three-phase mixture of water-gas-oil droplets or suspended solids. Due to the large number of fine bubbles that separate from the water and adhere to suspended particles and oil droplets, making their density less than that of water, they float to the surface, achieving the purpose of solid-liquid separation. The wastewater treated by this method can remove dispersed oil, emulsified oil, and suspended solids.

Adhesion is the key to the success of the flotation process; only oil droplets and suspended particles attached to bubbles can be separated. The necessary condition for adhesion is to produce suitable fine bubbles. Oil droplets and suspended particles generally have hydrophobic properties and can be attached by bubbles, but not all bubble sizes can hold onto oil droplets and suspended particles. Particularly for particles within the 10-100μm range, if the bubble size is larger than that of the adsorbed oil droplets and suspended particles, it reduces the likelihood of adhesion. Additionally, it may also break up oil-gas aggregates due to inertial forces, causing severe disturbances in the flotation zone. The flotation process plays a bridging role in water treatment technology, especially in reducing the load on subsequent filtration processes and ensuring the final effluent meets standards, playing a crucial role.
