Product Description
This product is an environmentally friendly coating based on modified MMA (methyl methacrylate resin). The main film-forming substances are copolymers of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and butyl methacrylate (MBA). Under the action of the redox reaction system, free radicals are activated to achieve a curing process of chain growth and chain termination.
By using a bottom-layer MMA coating with high adhesion and bonding properties, and then broadcasting low-abrasive anti-slip aggregates on top to form a certain structural depth, the non-slip road surface achieves a higher coefficient of friction (with a road friction value BPN of 75 or above).
Effectively reduces braking distance by 50% to 80%, especially on wet surfaces after rain, ensuring driving safety. Excellent weather resistance and adhesion, combined with wear-resistant aggregates, ensure the anti-slip pavement maintains good anti-slip properties even after years of use.
Advantages
1. The abrasion-resistant aggregate on the surface forms a structure with depth that effectively expels water, allowing the tire to sink into the microstructure, enhancing traction and friction between the tire and the ground surface.
2. In case of an emergency brake, the rough surface structure offers high friction, reducing the braking distance and ensuring driving safety.
3. Methyl methacrylate's excellent weather resistance and adhesion, combined with high-temperature baked abrasion-resistant aggregates, ensure the non-slip layer is durable and long-lasting.
4. Long service life. Methyl methacrylate (MMA) boasts excellent weather resistance, water resistance, and resistance to acids, alkalis, and salts. The acrylic sheet polymerized from MMA can last up to 20 years when used as outdoor soundproof barriers. For road coatings, it can be used outdoors for as long as 8 years.
5. Excellent adhesion. Provides good adhesion to steel plates, concrete, asphalt, and even tiles, preventing displacement or delamination of the colored paving layers due to the shear forces from heavy vehicles.
6. High anti-slip value effectively reduces braking distance, ensuring vehicle safety. The high wear-resistant and low-wear aggregates make the road anti-slip value BPN exceed 75, effectively shortening the braking distance.
7. Short construction time, normal construction even at -30°C. Generally, curing and traffic can resume within two hours. MMA resin-based coatings can cure quickly, minimizing traffic control periods. Particularly on already open highways, shorter construction times can significantly reduce traffic control, increase vehicle throughput, and also lower the risk of safety accidents caused by construction.
8. Easy to install, no heavy machinery required. Simply scrape and apply the coating manually, then scatter the aggregate over the paint surface.
9. Excellent low-temperature fracture resistance. In the -20°C low-temperature test, there were no fractures after 4 cycles, beneficial for use in environments with large temperature differences.
10. Oil and grease-resistant, acid and alkali salt-resistant. Methyl methacrylate (MMA) boasts excellent physical properties, which, after curing, do not react with gasoline, diesel, or engine oil. It exhibits good resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and salt雾. It is the ideal material for color-coated thin layer paving in coastal areas.
11. Excellent stretch properties. The tensile strength reaches up to 8Mpa, making it suitable for steel bridge decks with high thermal expansion coefficients, reducing the likelihood of cracking and bulging.
12. Easy to clean, the fired abrasives feature hydrophobic and stain-resistant properties due to their lower surface energy, and they will look as good as new even after years of water washing.

Storage
All components should be stored in a cool, dry environment, out of direct sunlight, in compliance with relevant construction site safety and regulations. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 degrees Celsius, and keep away from open flames and food.
