Equipment Brief Introduction

The LYL-18ZKJS series high-temperature, high-vacuum furnaces are mainly used for vacuum sintering, quenching, and other processes of hard alloy, magnetic materials, ceramics, and powder materials. The high-temperature sintering technology for materials ensures reliable thermal and insulating properties. The new electrode structure eliminates the problem of electrode water leakage in high-temperature furnaces, and the replaceable components in the heating system are easier to maintain and replace.

Primary Application

This equipment is widely used in universities, research institutions, industrial and mining enterprises, and is an ideal device for experiments and production in the fields of powder, electronics, metallurgy, ceramics, sulfur, new glass materials, chemicals, metal sintering, and metal heat treatment.  

Structural DescriptionStructure 

1. Carbon steel housing, welded by a pressure vessel factory, ensuring airtight welds with no blowholes or cracks, etc., for no leakage points.

2. As required, constructed with a double-layer furnace shell and sealed with O-ring silicone gaskets.

3. The furnace door seal features a wire-cut flange, embedded with an O-ring of silicone, and is secured by a handwheel.

4. Bottom furnace electric start, screw lifting, smooth and controllable lifting, well-sealed, does not drop for a long time.

5. The exterior surface of the furnace shell is electrostatic spray-painted for rust prevention, looking aesthetically pleasing.

Vacuum System DescriptionVaccum System

1. The vacuum system is a diffusion pump unit, which consists of a diffusion pump and a scroll-type Roots vacuum pump. It includes a high vacuum diffusion pump, water-cooled baffle, scroll vacuum pump, electromagnetic vacuum filling valve, high vacuum pneumatic baffle valve (main valve), pre-evacuation valve for high vacuum pneumatic baffle valve, high vacuum pneumatic baffle valve (exit valve), upstream pipeline filling valve, connecting pipeline, seals, composite vacuum gauge, and power distribution cabinet, etc., forming a suction system.

2. This unit is not suitable for extracting gases that are corrosive to metals or reactive with pump oil. It can serve as a high vacuum obtaining device for high-tech equipment such as vacuum smelting, vacuum sintering, vacuum heat treatment, vacuum coating, vacuum brazing, and space simulation experimental facilities. Operating environment temperature: 5~40°C, relative humidity not exceeding 85%, cooling water temperature: 25°C ±5°C.

3. The vacuum level is related to the vacuum pump's suction capacity, the cabin's sealing, and the degassing amount of the internal materials (furnace inner wall, experimental devices, heat sinks, etc.). The ultimate pressure of this unit is 1×10^-3 Pa, the operating pressure is 1×10^-2 Pa, and the suction time is approximately 1 hour.

4. The diffusion pump cannot evacuate air independently; it must be preceded by a primary pump to reduce the system pressure to within the starting pressure required by the diffusion pump, typically ≤10 Pa.

5. A new type of water-cooled baffle is installed at the intake of the diffusion pump, effectively preventing the return of oil vapor from the pump into the vacuum chamber, thus avoiding contamination of the experimental equipment.

6. To prevent the vacuum oil in the preliminary pump from flowing back into the diffusion pump cavity when the pump stops, an electromagnetic valve must be installed at the inlet of the preliminary vacuum, automatically isolating the system piping during shutdown.

All valves are operated pneumatically for easy handling.

8. Upon initiating the evacuation, this system features a preliminary evacuation line, where the gas is directly pumped out by the fore pump instead of passing through the diffusion pump. This method prevents contamination of the diffusion pump by the gas inside the evacuation vessel (moisture, volatile substances, impurities). Once the pressure inside the vessel drops to 10 Pa, close the preliminary evacuation valve and open the baffle valve. The diffusion pump then commences normal evacuation of the vessel.

Safety Protection
