Screw type gate installation and commissioning

Now, with the increasing use of linear displacement sensors, they are also being applied to hydraulic gates. How should a spiral gate be installed, and what should be taken into account? We've compiled some summaries about screw gate equipment for your reference:

When installing the screw-type gate operator, the foundation layout of the base must be kept level. The contact area between the operator base and the foundation layout plane should exceed 90%. The screw axis should be perpendicular to the horizontal plane measured above the gate platform. It should also be perpendicular to the gate hinge holes to avoid screw tilt, which can cause localized stress and damage the machinery.

2. Position the manual screw jack at the installation location, place a stop plate above the screw, then thread the screw into the machine from the top of the beam. As the screw protrudes from the top of the machine, attach the upper stop plate. The top of the screw is connected to the gate.

The foundation for the installation of the hoisting and lowering machinery must be stable and safe. The concrete for the machine base and foundation components is cast according to the drawings. It is not permitted to dismantle or alter the temporary supports for the winch before the concrete reaches the designed strength, and it is also not allowed to conduct debugging or trial operation.

During the installation process, locate the center based on the centerline of the gate's lifting, ensuring that the deviation of the vertical and horizontal centerlines does not exceed ±3mm, and the inclination deviation does not exceed ±5mm. Subsequently, pour the second level of concrete or connect to the buried steel plate.

5. For the installation of electrical equipment for the product, it must comply with the drawings and specifications. All electrical equipment must be reliably grounded.

6. After product installation, the machine must be handled, repairing any chipped protective paint, and applying lubrication.

Screw Type Gate Opener Calibration Techniques and Precautions:

When the lifting machine is operating at no load, it should ensure that the unbalanced three-phase current does not exceed ±10%, with the current values output from the rear.

2. For adjusting the upper and lower limits: When the gate is fully closed, place the upper limit switch above the travel switch and secure it on top of the screw actuator's screw. When the gate is fully open, press the lower limit plate onto the travel switch below and secure it on the screw.

Adjustments to the main control unit of the opening and closing machinery must ensure that the error in the gate's opening and closing does not exceed 1 cm above or below the limit positions.

After installation, a trial run is mandatory. Once an unloaded test is conducted, give the screws a couple of turns, listen for any abnormal sounds, and check if the tail installation meets technical requirements.
