Product Overview

Flat-welded sight glasses, also known as equipment sight glasses, are available in materials such as stainless steel and carbon steel. They operate at a pressure of 25 kgf/cm², with the medium temperature varying with the type of glass used.

Installation, repair, and maintenance

1. A sight glass is used to observe the flow of liquids, gases, and steam, and its viewing window should be kept clean and free of dust.

2. The viewport glass of the sight glass is a consumable part; be careful and gentle when installing the sight glass.

3. The viewing glass has certain limitations in terms of temperature and pressure resistance.

Temperature Resistance: Tempered glass steel ≤ 180°C, borosilicate glass steel ≤ 200~400°C, quartz glass ≤ 1000°C

Pressure Resistance: ≤1.6 MPa

4. Allow for rapid temperature changes below 60°C; glass can crack due to excessive temperature differences. Please take good care of it.

5. The sight glass must operate within the permitted pressure range; otherwise, safe operation cannot be guaranteed.

6. The sight glass can be installed horizontally or vertically, primarily used for observing the flow reactions of liquids, gases, steam, etc., and its viewing window glass should remain clean and dust-free.

7. The glass of the sight glass is a fragile component; avoid collisions and handle with care.
