The horizontal screw blade mixer is a new type of mixing equipment with high uniformity, high loading coefficient, low energy consumption, and low breakage. Its unique double-screw blade design allows for quick and even mixing of materials. It has a wide range of applications, including mixing powders with powders, powders with liquids, and can also mix pasty, thick, or dense materials (such as putty, genuine stone paint, metal powder, and other products). Working Principle:

The drive shaft of the mixer is equipped with double-layer helical blades. The internal helix transports materials outward, while the external helix gathers materials inward. Under the convective movement of the double-layer helical belt, a low-power mixing environment is formed. The inner and outer diameter helices mounted on the stirrer shaft drive the materials within the drum, allowing the stirrer to move materials over a wider range within the drum. As the mixing device operates, the inner helix drives the materials near the shaft center to rotate around the axis, pushing axially from the inside to the sides, while the outer helix drives the materials near the drum wall to rotate around the axis, pushing axially from the sides to the inside. This mixed material can be uniformly mixed in a shorter period of time.

The horizontal cylinder bottom of the blender features a central discharge port. The spiral structure of the outer spiral belt, synchronized with the rotation direction of the main shaft, drives the material inside the cylinder wall towards the central discharge port, ensuring a seamless discharge with no dead corners inside the cylinder.

The mixer can be customized with carbon steel, manganese steel, 304 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, 321 stainless steel, and other types of steel, and different materials can also be combined.

Material selection distinction: parts in contact with the material and parts not in contact with the material; within the mixer, functional coatings or protective layers can be added specifically for corrosion resistance, anti-adhesion, isolation, and wear resistance; surface treatment for stainless steel includes sandblasting, brushed, polishing, and mirror finishes, which can be applied to different usage areas.

Mixers are configured with drive units of different capacities, powers, and output speeds based on the properties of the material, the starting method, and the mixing method.

Available drive motor options include: standard motor, explosion-proof motor, variable frequency motor, energy-saving motor, high protection grade motor, and motors for different voltages.

Commonly Used Reducers: R, K, F series gear reducers, cycloidal pinwheel reducers, general-purpose gearboxes, and planetary gear reducers.

Mixers can be configured with different mixers based on the properties of the materials: continuous helical, intermittent helical.

Standard material blending processes: mixing different powders, blending batches of the same material, adding a small amount of liquid to powder for mixing, stirring liquid with powder to form paste, thickening or thinning paste, mixing granular material with powder, mixing granular material with granular material, breaking and mixing lumpy material, cooling or heating for mixing, etc.

Section 4: Excellent Material Feeding Device

Standard configuration of the blender includes an air-powered curved flap valve. When the valve is closed, the curved flap of the valve completely conforms to the cylindrical surface, ensuring there are no dead spots during the blending process, resulting in more uniform mixing of the materials. The valve drive can be differentiated into manual, pneumatic, and electric types.

Valves for your reference include spheroidal ball valves, drum valves, plum blossom misalignment valves, powder butterfly valves, and rotary feeding valves, etc.

V. Various Opening Methods

The cover of the mixer can be equipped with different types of openings to meet various operating conditions.

According to the opening function, manholes, cleaning doors, feed openings, exhaust outlets, dust outlets, and more can be set. The opening styles include flanged standard openings and quick-opening hinged doors.

The mixer can be set to a full-open drum lid style for easy cleaning of the internal equipment.

Section 6: Robust Auxiliary Components

The mixer can be fitted with various components for use, commonly including coiled tube steam jacket, honeycomb pressure-resistant jacket, circulating medium jacket, scraper (to reduce material adhesion on the cylinder wall), on-line sampling valve, high-speed fly knife, magnetic separator, temperature detection, weighing system, dust removal and purification, etc.

The jacket of the mixer is designed with different jacket types depending on the heat source medium, allowing for both heating and cooling. The maximum temperature is within 250 degrees Celsius.

When adding a small amount of liquid, a spray nozzles system should be used to ensure even distribution and mixing with the main ingredient.

The spray system consists of three basic components: a pressure source, a storage tank, and spray nozzles.
