Equipment Introduction
Spiral conveyors are categorized into two types based on their conveying form: shafted spiral conveyors and shaftless spiral conveyors. They are also divided into U-shaped spiral conveyors and tubular spiral conveyors in terms of appearance.
The shaftless screw conveyors are suitable for dry powdery materials and small particle materials without adhesiveness (e.g., cement, fly ash, lime, grain, etc.), while the shafted screw conveyors are ideal for conveying sticky and tangled materials (e.g., sludge, biomass, waste, fibers, etc.).
Operating Principle
As the helical shaft rotates, the rotating spiral blades push the material forward for conveyance. It can convey horizontally or inclinably, featuring simple structure, small cross-sectional area, good sealing, easy operation, easy maintenance, and convenient for enclosed transportation.
