Explosion-proof Dehumidifier Product Introduction
Explosion-proof dehumidifiers are a type of explosion-proof electrical equipment, primarily used in flammable and explosive environments such as oil refineries, chemical industries, explosive areas, oil depots, and offshore oil platforms. They are designed for air dehumidification, moisture extraction, and drying processes, and must prevent the possibility of explosion caused by electrical circuits in the presence of combustible gases, dust, liquids, and mixed gases during dehumidification.
Portable explosion-proof dehumidifiers must meet national explosion-proof standards to be allowed into the market. Currently, the execution standards for explosion-proof products announced by the state include:
GB3836.1-2000 Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres — Part 1: General Requirements
GB3836.2-2000 Electrical equipment for explosive gas atmospheres — Part 2: Flameproof "d"
GB3836.4-2000 Electrical equipment for explosive gas atmospheres – Part 2: Intrinsic safety “i” “ib”
GB3836.9-2006 Electrical equipment for explosive gas atmospheres — Part 9: Encapsulation type “m”
GB3836.15-2000 Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres – Part 15: Electrical Installations in Hazardous Areas (Excluding Coal Mines)
JB/10538-2005 "Explosion-proof Dehumidifier and Air Conditioner"
Explosion-proof dehumidifier operating conditions
Altitude not exceeding 2,000 meters.
2. Environmental temperature between 5~32 degrees Celsius.
3. Relative humidity below 90%;
4. Areas with flammable gases, steam, and air mixtures that could lead to explosions are not to be used.
Explosion-proof Dehumidifier Product Standards
This standard applies to the structural and experimental requirements for explosion-proof dehumidifier equipment in terms of explosion-proof safety.
This standard does not address the safety requirements and performance requirements specified in GB5956 "Safety Requirements for Room Air Conditioning Appliances" and GB7725 "Room Air Conditioners."
