GLSR AeratorFor the volumetric fan, the airflow is proportional to the speed. The impeller face and the front and rear end caps of the fan, as well as the gaps between the fan blades, are always maintained at a minimal distance. Driven by the synchronous gears, the air is transported from the fan's intake to the discharge side along the inner wall of the housing.

The fan's internal cavity does not require lubrication, offering high precision, long service life, a compact structure, small size, light weight, and ease of use. The product has a wide range of applications, spanning industries such as petrochemicals, building materials, electricity, smelting, fertilizer, mining, ports, light and textile, food, papermaking, aquaculture, wastewater treatment, and environmental protection. It is predominantly used for air conveyance but can also transport gases like coal gas, hydrogen, acetylene, and carbon dioxide, which are flammable, explosive, or corrosive.

1. The aeration fan should not be installed in areas frequently accessed by people to prevent injuries and burns. 2. The fan should not be placed in locations prone to generating flammable, explosive, and corrosive gases to avoid fires and poisoning accidents.

3. According to the direction of the intake and exhaust ports and the maintenance requirements, adequate space should be left around the base surface.

4. When installing the fan, check if the foundation is solid, the surface is level, and whether the foundation is elevated above the ground.

5. When installing fans outdoors, a rain shelter should be provided.

6. The fan can be used for an extended period at an environmental temperature not exceeding 40°C. When the temperature exceeds 40°C, cooling measures such as exhaust fans should be installed to enhance the fan's lifespan.

7. When conveying air medium, the dust content should generally not exceed 100 mg/m³.

1. Inspect all components of the fan, ensuring parts are intact, checking the tightness of connections for bolts and nuts, the quality of installation for fasteners and locating pins, and the installation quality of intake and exhaust pipes and valves.

2. To ensure the safe operation of the blower, it is not permitted to carry additional loads such as carrying pipes, valves, frames, etc.

3. Inspect the centering and alignment quality of the blower and motor.

4. Check if the base of the unit is fully padded and if the anchor bolts are securely tightened.

5. Fill the oil tank with the specified grade of mechanical oil to the oil level line, which is N220 medium load working gear oil.

6. Check if the motor's direction of rotation meets the specified requirements.

7. A belt guard (protection cover) should be installed at the belt wheel (coupling) area to ensure safe operation.

8. Fully open the inlet and exhaust valve of the blower, rotate the blower rotor, it should turn smoothly without any impact or friction. Confirm that everything is normal before starting the blower for trial operation.

9. Blower air-load test operation

(1) New installations or major repairs to fans should be subjected to an empty-load test run.

The concept of the Roots blower running at no load is: to start the operation with both the inlet and exhaust valve fully open.

③ No abnormal odor or smoking, and no collision or friction sounds. The radial vibration speed at the bearing section does not exceed 6.3 mm/s.

⑷ Run at no load for about 30 minutes. If the operation is normal, it can then be put into load operation. If abnormal operation is detected, perform checks and elimination, and then conduct a no-load trial run again.

10. The blower operates normally under load for continuous operation

Stepwise and gradual adjustment is required, with loading up to the rated load, not allowing an immediate adjustment to the rated load.

The so-called rated load refers to the static pressure difference between the inlet and exhaust ports, as indicated by the pressure values on the nameplate. Under normal exhaust port pressure conditions, attention must be paid to the pressure changes at the inlet to avoid overloading.

③ During normal operation of the fan, it is strictly prohibited to completely close the inlet and exhaust valve. Regular observation of the pressure should be conducted. If the fan is overloading, the safety valve should open to exhaust. Otherwise, the safety valve should be adjusted promptly, and operation beyond the load capacity is not allowed.

Due to the characteristics of the Roots blower, it is not permitted to recycle the exhaust gas back into the blower's intake port for an extended period (as it alters the intake temperature). Otherwise, it will undoubtedly affect the machine's safety. If回流adjustment is necessary, cooling measures must be implemented.

Pay close attention to the lubricating oil level, perform regular checks, and keep detailed records to ensure adequate oil quantity. Consider using an automatic lubrication system for the maintenance of the Roots blower equipment.

11. Parking

Blowers should not be abruptly stopped under full load; they must be gradually unloaded before stopping to prevent damage to the machinery. As for the principles of emergency stopping, the user may establish specific guidelines separately.

12. The safe operation and service life of the blower depend on proper and regular maintenance, and attention should be paid to any signs of accidents. In addition to general maintenance procedures, the following points should be emphasized.
