GRC component working environment: Construction has been completed and passed the final acceptance inspection. Flatness and vertical angles meet the standard specifications. The structural surfaces must be firm and orderly.
GRC component drilling: As GRC decorative components rely on anchor bolts to securely connect and fix to the solid line structure through pre-drilled holes in concrete, the depth, diameter, and location of the holes must meet the requirements. Different components require different anchor bolts. Drilling should be based on the spacing of holes within the component and the control lines on the structural surface. When fixing the component, attention must be given to the maintenance of the GRC component during the knocking out of anchor bolts, and zinc-plated parts must not be bent to prevent damaging the bond between the GRC and the concrete, and to avoid destroying the stress points of the component. If the decorative overall surface cannot cover the anchor bolts in the installation plan, it is essential to consider the burial depth of the anchor bolt ends during drilling and to moderately expand the concrete surface.
GRG wall panels typically do not require maintenance after completion and handover, but during use, the following points should still be noted:
1. Maintain indoor ventilation. Strive to keep the temperature and humidity inside consistent with the external environment.
2. Avoid heavy impacts on the walls. Mild impacts may leave marks or pockmarks on the walls; when the impact force exceeds the greater tensile load of GRG products, it can cause cracking in the walls, and in severe cases, may lead to wall detachment.
3. When cleaning walls, minimize the use of wet materials. Contact with moisture may cause a chemical reaction on the GRG wall surface coating, resulting in discoloration; as much as possible, use soft, dry items for cleaning.
4. In the event of wall damage due to external factors, the damaged areas can be trimmed and repaired. Once the repairs are completed, there should be no trace left, restoring the wall to its original overall appearance.
