Hook-type shot blasting machine

The crane shot blast machine is available in single crane and double crane models. The crane shot blast machine loads workpieces alternately into the shot blasting cleaning chamber using two cranes. By utilizing a shot blasting gun, shots of 0.2 to 0.8 mm in size are propelled onto the workpiece surface, achieving a certain degree of roughness. This not only enhances the appearance of the workpiece but also alters the compressive stress to increase its lifespan. This model is widely used in the surface cleaning or strengthening treatment of medium and small castings and forgings in industries such as foundry, construction, chemicals, electrical machinery, and machine tools. Moreover, it is suitable for cleaning slender, thin-walled parts that are prone to damage.

Shot Blasting Adjusting Method

When adjusting the shot blasting pot for the hook-type shot blasting machine, pay attention to the position of the directional sleeve of the shot blaster. Ensure that the pellets are projected to fully cover the workpiece being cleaned; otherwise, it will affect the cleaning efficiency.

Position the directional nozzle window; if necessary, mark the board with black ink or lay a thick paper on it, place it at the location of the cleaned workpiece, start the shot blasting machine, manually add a small amount of shot into the shot feeder of the blasting machine, check the position of the projection belt. If the position of the projection area is incorrect, adjust the directional nozzle to achieve the ideal position.
