The overhead shot blasting machine is available in single and double hook models. The machine loads workpieces alternately with two hooks into the shot blasting cleaning chamber. The blast gun propels shots ranging from 0.2 to 0.8 mm towards the workpiece surface, achieving a certain roughness to enhance appearance or alter the compressive stress to extend the workpiece's lifespan. This model is widely used for surface cleaning or strengthening treatment of medium and small castings and forgings in industries such as foundry, construction, chemicals, electrical machinery, and machine tools. Additionally, it is suitable for cleaning slender, thin-walled parts that are prone to damage.
Method for Shot Blasting Machine Adjustment
When adjusting the shot blasting pot for the hook-type shot blasting machine, pay attention to the position of the directional sleeve of the shot blaster. Ensure that the shot is projected to cover the entire workpiece being cleaned; otherwise, it may affect the cleaning efficiency.
Position the directional nozzle window; if necessary, mark with black ink or lay a thick paper on a board, place it at the location of the cleaned workpiece, start the shot blasting machine, manually add a small amount of shot to the shot feeding tube of the machine, check the position of the projection belt. If the projection area is not correctly positioned, adjust the directional nozzle to achieve the desired location.
Advantages
Utilizing the fourth-generation international overhead centrifugal shot blasting machine with high shot blasting volume and velocity, it can significantly enhance cleaning efficiency and achieve satisfactory cleaning quality.
2. The simulation projection diagrams (including the determination of the model, quantity, and spatial layout of the blast cleaner) and all drawings of the blast machine are all completely designed using Computer-Aided Design (CAD), making the selection and arrangement of the blast cleaner more rational. This has improved the utilization rate of the shot and labor productivity, ensured the cleaning effect, and reduced wear on the chamber's protective panels.
3. Utilizing the popular no-pit structure, it saves both construction costs and time for the pit foundation, and also resolves the issue of ball mill sand rust and caking inside the hoist due to water accumulation in the pit for southern users.
4. Indoor heat zone cleaning utilizes rolled Mn13 plate protection, offering significantly longer service life compared to the previous rubber plate protection, and is aesthetically pleasing and easy to replace.
