The hook-type shot blasting machine is available in single and double hook models. The machine loads workpieces alternately into the shot blasting cleaning chamber using two hooks. The shot blaster propels 0.2 to 0.8mm shots onto the workpiece surface, achieving a certain roughness to enhance appearance or alter the compressive stress to extend lifespan. This model is widely used for surface cleaning or strengthening treatment of medium and small castings and forgings in industries such as foundry, construction, chemical, electrical machinery, and machine tools. Additionally, it is suitable for cleaning slender, thin-walled parts that are prone to damage.
Tumbler Adjusting Method
When adjusting the shot blasting machine with a hook-type blasting unit, attention should be given to the orientation sleeve position of the blasting unit. Ensure that the pellets are projected to fully cover the workpiece being cleaned; otherwise, it may affect the cleaning efficiency.
The directional nozzle position can be marked on a wooden board or a thick paper sheet, as needed, and placed at the location of the cleaned workpiece. Start the shot blaster, manually add a small amount of shot into the inlet tube of the blaster, check the position of the projection belt. If the projection area is not properly aligned, adjust the directional nozzle to achieve the desired position.
Advantages
Utilizing the internationally fourth-generation overhead centrifugal shot blasting machine with high shot blasting volume and speed, it can significantly enhance cleaning efficiency and achieve satisfactory cleaning quality.
2. The simulation projection diagrams (including the determination of the type, quantity, and spatial layout of the shot blasters) and all drawings of the shot blasting machine are completely created using Computer-Aided Design (CAD). The selection and layout of the shot blasters are more rational. This improves the utilization rate of the shot and labor productivity, ensures the cleaning effect, and reduces wear on the chamber's protective panels.
3. Utilizing the popular above-ground pitless structure, it saves both construction costs and time for the pit foundation, and also resolves the issue of ball sand corrosion and caking inside the hoist caused by water accumulation in the pit for users in the southern regions.
4. Indoor hot zone cleaning utilizes rolled Mn13 plate protection, offering significantly extended service life compared to the previous rubber plate protection, and is aesthetically pleasing and easy to replace.
