Hanger-type shot blasting machine

The hook-type shot blasting machine is available in single-hook and double-hook models. The machine loads workpieces alternately into the shot blasting cleaning chamber using two hooks. By using the shot blasting gun, steel shots of 0.2 to 0.8 mm size are projected onto the surface of the workpiece, achieving a certain roughness to enhance appearance or alter the compressive stress to extend the workpiece's lifespan. This model is widely used for the surface cleaning or strengthening treatment of medium and small castings and forgings in industries such as foundry, construction, chemicals, electromechanical, and machine tools. Moreover, it is suitable for cleaning slender, thin-walled parts that are prone to damage.

Shot Blasting Adjusting Method

When adjusting the shot blasting pot of a hook-type shot blasting machine, pay attention to the position of the directional sleeve of the shot blaster. Ensure that the pellets are projected to cover the entire workpiece being cleaned; otherwise, it will affect the cleaning efficiency.

Position the directional nozzle window; if necessary, mark the board with black ink or lay a thick paper on the cleaned workpiece location. Start the shot blasting machine, manually add a small amount of shot into the shot feeding tube of the machine, check the position of the projection belt. If the projection area is not properly positioned, adjust the directional nozzle to achieve the desired location.
