Introduction:

The settler is an essential mechanical device for intermittent activated sludge process wastewater treatment. The wastewater treatment mechanism of the intermittent activated sludge process is the same as that of the conventional activated sludge process, but the difference lies in that the raw wastewater is not sequentially flowing through each treatment unit but is discharged into a single reaction tank, where operations with different purposes are sequentially carried out according to time, with the basic operation procedures including water intake.The system consists of five basic processes: (fill), (react), (settle), (draw), and (idle). From the inflow of wastewater to the end of the idle time constitutes a cycle. The decanter achieves timed and quantitative discharge of treated water to meet standards through the use of a timer relay inside the electric control cabinet and a stroke switch within the screw propulsion unit, thereby enabling the SBR tank to continuously process wastewater.

(1) The main equipment features a U-shaped rotating support, with all components made of stainless steel, ensuring a compact and smooth operation.

(2) The buoyant design of the float ensures that the water depth at the overflow layer remains constant despite changes in the pool's water level, achieving optimal overflow performance.

(3) The main equipment operates without power. During the overall operation of the equipment, except for the electric valve installed at the exhaust outlet, all other components do not use any power.

(4) The equipment maintains a uniform water decanting speed during operation, with a stable water surface and no fluctuations. The main power unit is noiseless, and it can continuously float upwards as the water level rises after decanting is complete.

(5) The underwater rotating section is equipped with a mechanical rotating device, ensuring the rotating part of the decanter lasts for a long time without aging or fracturing.

(6) The main equipment is free of any rubber components, ensuring a long service life.

(7) The equipment can freely adjust the draining range between 0 and the draining depth while operating normally through an electric valve.

(8) The water inlet of the collecting sump is equipped with an automatic mud shield, which effectively isolates sludge during aeration within the pool.

 The gravity-driven float-type skimmer is designed based on the principles of hydraulics, an automatic drainage device that does not consume power, suitable for the collection and discharge of supernatant in various intermittent drainage systems and for the need of high drainage flow rates. The float-type equipment structure ensures that the skimmer collects clean water at a depth below the water surface as the drainage liquid level fluctuates; the uniquely designed skimmer ball valve, both collects the supernatant and prevents the floating debris from being discharged.
