How much does it cost to generate one kilowatt-hour of electricity using a 1000KW diesel generator?

A 1000KW medium-sized diesel generator, with domestic and imported models having similar power generation costs. At full load, with a cost of 10# oil at 5,000 yuan/ton and engine oil at 200 yuan per drum (16L), the diesel cost is 1.05 yuan/KW.H, and the engine oil cost is approximately 0.02 to 0.05 yuan/KW.H (under normal operation). Adding maintenance costs and generator worker wages, the total cost per kilowatt-hour is around 1.5 yuan. However, the 1000KW model features a medium-speed engine. This type of generator can burn heavy oil, which is more than half the price of diesel (light oil), making it more economical. Operating a medium-speed engine for a long period is recommended. But the overall cost will be higher. However, the operational cost will drop to 0.60 yuan per kilowatt-hour.
